I'll see if it'll load this morning. :)

Oh I know - The Bible wasn't kidding when it said "No correction is pleasant at the moment, but worketh for our reward in the long run" (okay, that was really paraphrased, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. ^.^). Yep, tough lesson sometimes. It's nice when we can be able to look back and see the reward of it, though. :)Raechelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11845190071944799602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8219594873450855214.post-29719620158840078092017-02-02T18:33:22.037-08:002017-02-02T18:33:22.037-08:00Thanks Rae! It's basically a short presentation where the man is reading a list of things idolatry looks like and showing corresponding pictures of the Super Bowl.

It is once you take into consideration all the things Americans worship without even noticing.

As for the restriction I see it as good now, at the time I though it was the most 'unfair' thing ever. Funny how that works right? Sometimes those things we think are unfair are the things we need the most of. Yeah parents are a great representation of God :D Thanks for stopping byMarrok Macintyrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04209344267823649773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8219594873450855214.post-36348123585107466972017-02-02T17:16:32.454-08:002017-02-02T17:16:32.454-08:00Good post, M. :) The video isn't loading on my...Good post, M. :) The video isn't loading on my computer right now (the computer has issues like this a lot) but I'll try again later.
It's scary how quick something can become an idol. I'm glad we do have a Savior who keeps us in check! It'd be even scarier (is that a word?!) if we didn't. I like how you said your parent's putting restrictions was actually for your benefit. Much agreed - parents are great, like that. A good mirror of what God does for us. :)Raechelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11845190071944799602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8219594873450855214.post-12473509053081900402017-02-02T10:34:37.373-08:002017-02-02T10:34:37.373-08:00Thanks, I'm glad it could serve as a reminder....Thanks, I'm glad it could serve as a reminder. Since it's so easy to just forget about it as go through life. That's great! I have to say you can't really go wrong with God centered writing. I make sure I keep God as the center, because He is the reason that I write. In all the busyness, sometimes it's hard to remember, but He's the only One worth living for.

Thank you for this!Audrey Caylinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07113941859200338215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8219594873450855214.post-18343767498366162662017-02-02T08:03:25.080-08:002017-02-02T08:03:25.080-08:00Thanks Ashley! I've been thinking a lot on how I need to spend more time in the Word, but I haven't done it as much as I'd like. So I'm working on it.
Great post!s.m.bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05449410808944491054noreply@blogger.com
