12 Days of Christmas: Music

Hello everyone! and welcome back for another "12 Day's of Christmas" post. Hosted by Firefly! Make sure to check out her blog if you want more wonderful Christmas themed post!

Now today I'm doing something a little different, something "new". Something never done on this blog before!

And what's that? doing a quadruple backflip into an active volcano with a bags of marshmallows in your hands and a Go-Pro on your head while you live-stream?

No.............. As interesting as that sounds I'm not going to do that. Today I'm bringing you a post about Christmas themed Celtic music!!! Yeah Celtic stuff ROCKS!! if you couldn't tell by my name I'm big on Celtic stuff!

The volcano thing would have been cooler...

Aaaaaanyways I first wanted to link a ton of Celtic-themed Christmas music from YouTube on here so you could just click and listen. But after some thought, I came to the conclusion that wasn't the beast approach to it. Plus I was introduced to this App called "spuffy" a few day ago and it made the whole thing a lot easier with its customizable, shareable, playlist.

Do you mean "Spotify"?

Yes! "Spotify" that's it! Okay so I was introduced to this app a few days ago and though it would be cool to put together a Celtic-themed Christmas playlist that you could listen to right here while to do whatever it is you do! Don't worry there is no lyrics it's all instrumental. And even if you don't celebrate Christmas they are still great wintery themed songs. So if you're a fan of Celtic music (if your not a fan sounds off!) grab a cup of Yaknog and enjoy!

Wait you've said "Yaknog" before, what is that? it doesn't sound good.

Oh well Yaknog is something from Gift of the Night Fury (A How To Train Your Dragon Christmas special) and looks like this

Gross that looks disgusting! and hazardous to ANYONE'S HEALTH!

Aaaahahaha yeah, it does. Okay so forget the Yaknog,  just sit back and relax and enjoy the Celtic wintery sounds. Oh just so you know the playlist is about an hour and 59 minutes long so you have plenty of Celtic-themed songs. Oh, and you may hear like a 30-second advertisement every now and then.
P.S there are some identically titled songs on the list, but they are performed differently so I hope you enjoy them.

and P.P.S what's your favorite kind of Christmas OR wintery themed songs?
And Until Next Time, Stay True to The King!
P.P.P.S there may or may not be a post on 22ed, I haven't decided anything yet. But there will be a post on the 29th.
P.P.P.P.S these "P.S's" idea was taken from Cars 2

  1. Ooohhh.....these songs sound SO amazing! Loooovvveeee Celtic/Irish stuff!! ^_^ I don't have Spotify, so I can't listen to the entire songs, but the snippets I heard were Ah-mazing! I really loved the "Bring a Torch Jeanette, Isabella" and "Ding Dong Merrily on High". The latter especially sounds like something you'd do a farm dance/jig/you know what i mean ;)

    Thanks for sharing these!
